Feeding Center Sponsorship

CHILDREN ARE THE FUTURE OF THEIR COMMUNITIES...
Feeding Centers are set up in local churches, administered by the pastor, run by the church members and supported through your sponsorship. Three hundred dollars per month enables local churches to feed three hot, nutritious meals a week to fifty or more starving children in their community. After the meal they hear about Jesus. Returning to their homes of tin and cardboard, they tell their parents what they have learned about the good news of Jesus.

Missionary Ventures Canada’s primary goal in supporting feeding centers is to share the love and message of Jesus Christ with the children that come for food. We want to give them eternal food as well as physical food. Jesus is truly the answer to these children’s needs. Everyone in the community is touched by the feeding center. It is a beautiful example of the love of Christ reaching out to hungry people.

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY...
A start up cost of $600 is needed to purchase a cooking burner, pots and pans for food preparation, eating utensils and flannel boards to aid in telling the children about Jesus.

Christian School Sponsorship

WE INVITE YOU to consider giving a one-time gift or begin a monthly sponsorship for schools in impoverished countries. It is a gift that will impact the life of a child and their community. Your generosity will help train up these children for the Kingdom of God.
  DID YOU KNOW some children are not able to go to school because they cannot afford the tuition or appropriate clothes. In many areas, schools don’t even exist. Some of the schools are running on double sessions, maximizing the facilities. Many classes are without books in one or more subjects.
  Missionary Ventures Canada is building several Christian schools each year at a cost of approximately $40,000 each. The investment you make can change a country. These schools are central to the development of future leaders.

  Can you contribute to the building cost for the next school or expansion of an existing school? Can you help support a student for one year? Can you help fund the books that are needed?
 

Pastor Sponsorship

One of the best investments we can make in missions is to support an indigenous Christian pastor by assisting him to reach out to his own hurting people. This is accomplished by…

• Identifying for sponsorship indigenous pastors and leaders that God has called. This is done through MVI’s Field Coordinators living with and observing the fruit of the pastors’ work.
• Financially supporting an indigenous Christian leader for one year. In most cases, a church will be established within a year or two that will fully support their pastor.
• The need for support will be evaluated yearly. If the pastor’s church is unable to provide support for him and his family, then the goal will be to help the pastor set up a small business or micro enterprise to generate an income that will support his family.

These pastors will be from countries all over the world. You will see the many ways your money has enabled these pastor to harvest the field God has given them. We encourage you to plan a trip to meet some of these indigenous pastors and their congregations. You will be greatly blessed and see firsthand what a difference your prayers and financial assistance are making.

Why pastor sponsorship is such a good investment…

• They know the culture, can speak the language fluently and can better relate the love and message of Christ to their own people.
• They can eat the food and drink the water without fear of illness.
• They don’t need a visa and there are fewer political restraints.
• They can move with ease among their own tribes and villages. If foreign missionaries are expelled, they can stay.
• For every person in America that is willing to go, there are 100 indigenous workers ready to be trained and sent to reach their own people.

Just $50 a month is all it takes. Indigenous pastors need so little to get started. Sponsorship of indigenous pastors is a great investment in the work of God! You can help an indigenous pastor reach out to his people with the love and message of Christ.

WHO ARE M.V.C. AMBASSADORS?
Missionary Ventures Canada Ambassadors are special partners. They have caught the vision of Missionary Ventures and want to see the overall work of God continue to grow.

The goal of Missionary Ventures Canada has always been to channel as many funds as possible to the work in the field and in many cased sending 100% directly to the cause. This has been accomplished over the years through volunteer staff who help keep Missionary Ventures Canada going. Your support will enable more schools to be built, more feeding centers to be opened and more souls to be brought the good news of Jesus Christ. Your support will provide a strong financial base for the mission. It will allow many more teams of Jesus Christ. Your support will provide a strong financial base for the mission. It will allow many more teams of people to reach out and make a difference-not only a difference in the lives of those in the field, but a difference in the livers of the team members.

Living our slogan “Carrying the WORD to the world through Personal involvement” is giving these people a vehicle to answer that call. Your gift will provide the fuel to keep the vehicle running.

AN MV AMBASSADOR IS A SPECIAL PARTNER who is committed to supporting the ministry of Missionary Ventures Canada with monthly contributions. The Ambassador’s support of the mission through these funds has allowed other contributions to go directly to the field with minimal overhead withheld for administration. This means that MV sponsorship programs, projects, etc. will continue to receive the donated funds and MV Field Coordinators will receive 100% of their support.

• Ambassadors provide for administrative financial needs, freeing up the mission to focus on project development often sending 100% to the field.
• Ambassadors are included on the mailing list receiving MVC’s publications and will also receive a special quarterly Magazine.
• Ambassadors enable more funds for feeding centers, bible schools, clinics, church planting and Christian schools, which help meet physical needs and therefore open hearts to the good news of the gospel of Christ.
